From the Chairman’s Desk

I extend a hearty welcome to all viewers of the VPM’s Dolphin Kids and International School. These institutions are only in their 12th year of growth; But they are now bubbling with activities with the support of over one thousand students, their parents and nearly one hundred teaching and supporting staff, under able guidance of Principal Smt. Sandhya Sondur.

How do we go from the current infant stage to institution standing tall that provides high quality education with a humane touch? The VPM is always open to public for their suggestions/comments so that we can further upgrade our activities. We have already decided to affiliate the English School to Indian Council for Secondary Education, New Delhi. ICSE does not merely emphasize on education in three R’s but also inculcating creativity in young ones for their all-round development. In the next 2 years we will be a full fledged school. We are proposing to continue the School upto XII Std. our plans to provide much required infra structural facility like library and laboratories that are in making. We are confident that we will emerge as the number one among those who provide less expensive education without compromising quality in Airoli, Navi Mumbai and Mumbai.

That confidence springs from the fountain of experience of VPM’s in the last 52 years in managing educational institutions originally established to cater to the educational needs of Kannada linguistic minority students in Mumbai. Today one can hope to get best of education from KG to PG in the VPM’s institutions in Mulund (E). It is with that confidence we set up the spacious educational complex in Airoli, Navi Mumbai and its vicinity to reach out to every one who aspires for quality education without a high price tag.

We are aware that we still need a sports pavilion though we have a spacious playground of more than 5000 sq mts. We are open to philanthropic well wishers to come forward to donate for various facilities in these schools. We are also open to the idea of naming the entire educational complex after some donor. It is possible for the well-wishers to donate to name various facilities, and classrooms after their near and dear ones. I am sure our enlightened visitors will come forward to strengthen the bond between the VPM and general public.

Conversing in English
Language is a medium of expression through which you convey
your thoughts, ideas or express your feelings & emotions.
Different languages are used by the people across the world to
communicate. The easiest form of expressing ourselves is through
our Mother tongue. We all have mastered it without assistance
from any external agency.
Over the years, English language has acquired prominence and
won global recognition. In this context, we need to inculcate good
communication skills among students; encourage them to read
and write in English.
The mastery over the language brings forth innumerable benefits.
As English is the first language spoken by people of the top
nations, it has now been recognized as the business language.
Science, Computer, Economics in fact there is no field where
English language has not touched or shown its dominance.
So, it is highly important to develop the art of conversing in
English. Children gain confidence & feel a sense of self-worth.
They feel superior over others and gear up to take on any
challenges that come their way.
